Nayyar Bukhari, son granted bail over thrashing cop case

The court of Additional Sessions Judge Islamabad has officially granted bail to former chairman Senate Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and his son in pushing and slapping a policeman.

Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and his son Syed Ijrar Hussain Bukhari appeared in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Islamabad, Raja Asif Mehmood  earlier today.

Both were earlier granted interim bail till May 16.

Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, president Islamabad High Court (IHC) Bar, appeared on behalf of Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and prayed the court to confirm the bail. The court accepted the plea.

Case was registered against both father and son in Margalla police station for pushing and slapping a policeman. Trial will start as soon as challan is presented.
