According to sources, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is looking forward to make an alliance with the PPP to avoid any ‘bandwagon’ or any anti-government drive.
PM is intending to meet Co-Chairman PPP and former president of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, in Karachi to win assurance that his party will not be part of any anti-government drive. Since after the PMLN the PPP is the largest political party in the country the forces of the two parties combined may prove equal to the task of defending the government against any political misadventures.
