At least six people including two children were killed and at least 50 more sustained traumatic injuries in a roadside mishap on Tuesday evening.
The accident came to pass after a speeding bus, carrying passengers from Lahore to Jaranwala, flipped over near Mandi Faizabad while trying to save a motorcyclist.
“The driver of the coach panicked and hit the brakes as a reckless biker suddenly tried to overtake it. The bus side slipped on the road and slid a long a way before coming to a halt”, as reported by an eye witness.
Three passengers died on the spot while three more breathed their last in the hospital.
