The court also restored accountability court jurisdiction over cases linked to the LPG quota and the National Bank. Additionally, cases connected to the Karachi Port Trust and the alleged illegal transfer of government land in Karachi, Sindh, were included.
In its remarks, the bench said accountability courts had transferred the cases to other forums without seeking NAB’s consent. It said this consent was legally required.
