Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) has announced to observe countrywide Youm-e-Soug (day of mourning) tomorrow (Wednesday) to mourn the killings of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers during clash with police in Lahore.

Opposition parties also staged a walkout from the National Assembly against police assault on PAT workers.

MQM leader Farooq Sattar, while speaking to media outside the NA, said He said suppressing people with force was an inhumane act.

At least seven people have been killed in clash with police in Lahore outside the residence of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri.
