Fresh details about the alleged Anmol Pinky narcotics network surfaced after the suspected cocaine maker and dealer was arrested from Karachi’s Garden area, investigative sources said.
According to the police sources, Anmol alias “Pinky” allegedly built one of Karachi’s organised drug distribution operations after entering party circles at a young age and later becoming linked to narcotics trafficking.
Sources claimed she left home at 14 with ambitions of becoming a model and later married a lawyer allegedly connected to an international cocaine trafficking network. After divorcing the lawyer, she allegedly married a police officer and expanded operations with help from her three brothers.
Investigators alleged that Anmol learned cocaine production methods through internet research before creating her own “brand” in the underground drug market.
Sources further claimed Punjab Police arrested Anmol nearly five years ago but later released her after an alleged Rs70 million bribe. The claims have not been independently verified by authorities.
Investigators said cocaine shipments were allegedly transported from Lahore to Karachi by train through two female couriers carrying multiple narcotics packets. Bike riders would reportedly collect consignments at railway stations and distribute them to dealers across the city.
The alleged network was designed in compartments, with members operating separately and rarely meeting directly, investigators claimed. Payments were reportedly transferred through bank accounts to avoid detection.
Investigators also claimed Anmol owns a hotel in Gilgit and that her brother Nasir’s girlfriend allegedly helped supply cocaine at private parties in Karachi. Two of Anmol’s brothers had previously been arrested by Karachi Police in separate narcotics-linked cases, sources said.
Authorities believe the alleged cocaine network generated millions of rupees in monthly profits, but law enforcement agencies have not officially confirmed several claims circulating in media reports as the investigation continues
