A local court in Islamabad issued bailable arrest warrants for ARY anchor Mubashir Lucman yet again for leveling baseless allegations against Jang/Geo group on earlier today.
Additional Session Judge Islamabad (West) Wajid Ali was hearing the criminal case initiated by the Independent Media Corporation (IMC) and Independent Newspapers Corporation (INC) against the ARY anchor Mubashir Lucman for defaming Jang/Geo group in his talk show ‘Khara Sach’.
The court had summoned Lucman to appear in the hearing, however, the anchor did not appear in the court today. Resultantly, the court issued bailable arrest warrants for Mubashir Lucman.
Judge Wajid Ali remarked that if the court found out that the anchor is intentionally defying the court orders, then other options can be used if necessary.
