Minister for Defence, Khawaja Asif says Imran Khan’s hunger for power has blinded him to the real issues of Pakistan.
“Khan’s was an ‘Ideology of Power’ –absolute power. He just cannot accept his being outvoted by the people of Pakistan in the last year’s general elections”, the minister said in his counterblast to Khan’s latest tirade against the government.
Asif sent up Khan’s repeatedly raising hue & cry over electoral rigging by saying the political defeat of a party that left its leader in the lurch should not have come as a surprise.
He further said that Khan’s unlawful calls for civil disobedience and money transfer via Hundi went unanswered.
“People have pooh-poohed his crazy ideas. Most of the times during his speeches, he is talking to himself, that too nonsense”, said Asif.
Minister for Railways, Khawaja Saad Rafique said that “Khan speaks everything but truth”, he also said that PTI leader tells lies in his speeches every day.
