Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MNA Shahjahan Baloch was acquitted on Monday in three cases of illegal weapons and hand grenades possession by sessions court in Karachi.
Three cases of illegal arms possession had been registered against member of National Assembly Shahjahan Baloch. Additional District and Session Judge Sohail Jabbar heard the cases against Baloch.
Four witnesses were presented by Criminal Investigation Department (CID), however, the judge ruled that the evidence submitted was not sufficient. After hearing the arguments by Baloch’s counsel Akram Baig, the court ordered the dismissal of the case and released Shahjahan Baloch.
