After Jundullah, Jamat ul Ahrar claims Wagah suicide attack

After Jundullah,  Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) affiliated banned outfit Jamat ul Ahrar have also claimed the responsibility of Wagah suicide attack.

In a suicide attack at Wagah, which left 55 people dead and 12o seriously injured in the evening on Sunday.

After the attack, first banned outfit Jundullah claimed the responsibility and another militant outfit, Jamat ul Ahrar.

ARY News Peshawar bureau chief, Zia ul Haq told that the spokesperson of Jamat ul Ahrar, during a telephonic call from an Afghanistan number from an undisclosed location, claimed to have waged the attack at Wagah border which killed 55 people and injured 120 earlier on Sunday evening.

The newly emerged militant group comprises of some key commanders who were affiliated with the outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), however they had parted ways due to differences with the TTP leadership and had formed their own organization a few months ago.

Earlier another banned outfit, Jundullah had claimed the responsibility of the deadly attack, which had taken place shortly after the flag lowering ceremony, a display of military pageantry that attracts thousands of spectators every day and is popular with foreign tourists at the Pakistan-India border crossing.
