Camille Vasquez, the legal representative of Johnny Depp in his defamation case against ex-spouse Amber Heard, has hinted at the possibility of writing a book about the trial. Vasquez, who gained significant attention online during the six-week trial, mentioned to People Magazine that she and her team often humorously discuss penning a book on the case.
While Vasquez stated there are currently no plans to start such a book, she did not dismiss the possibility for the future. She noted, alongside fellow lawyer Benjamin Chew from Depp’s legal team, that they’ve contemplated creating a book about the trial. She sees her story as only halfway written, with more to unfold.
“I do have a title in mind,” she commented, teasing the possibility of a book one day.
Additionally, Vasquez revealed that she and the rest of their legal team continue to communicate with Depp, hinting they might even join him on his Hollywood Vampires tour stops in Boston.
Vasquez maintains a professional stance despite rumors of romantic involvement with Depp during the trial. She acknowledged their frequent text conversations and mutual support, particularly concerning Depp’s upcoming birthday and recent injury.
