LOS ANGELES: Rapper Kanye West reached an unconditional settlement with former assistant Lauren Pisciotta on July 23 in her civil lawsuit alleging sexual assault, harassment and wrongful termination.
A filing submitted to the Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, July 28, said Pisciotta would request dismissal within 45 days of the settlement date. The agreement’s financial and other terms remain undisclosed, People reported.
“The matter has been resolved,” Pisciotta’s attorney, Arick Fudali, told the publication Wednesday.
The final agreement followed a settlement in principle reached after mediation on June 4. Tuesday’s filing confirmed that the parties had completed an unconditional settlement.
Pisciotta first sued West in June 2024. She accused him of sexual harassment, breach of contract and wrongful termination during her employment.
She later amended the complaint to include allegations of sexual assault, sexual battery and sex trafficking. The civil lawsuit also named several West-associated companies as defendants.

West, who legally changed his name to Ye in 2021, denied the allegations. His representatives previously described Pisciotta’s claims as baseless and accused her of attempted blackmail and extortion.
The settlement resolves the civil litigation without West admitting liability, according to The Independent.
