Islamabad’s pollen count stood at 156 grains per cubic meter on June 15, 2026, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
The PMD update showed grasses in the highest-risk category with 22 grains/m³. Paper mulberry recorded 38 grains/m³ and cannabis stood at 34 grains/m³, both in the moderate category.
Alternaria recorded the highest individual count at 59 grains/m³. Pines remained low at 3 grains/m³.
The department said eucalyptus, dandelion and acacia showed no pollen presence in the latest count.
People with pollen allergies, sinus problems or breathing sensitivities were advised to take precautions when moving outdoors.
