Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan vowed to lead the protest on November 2, come what may.
Speaking to his party workers outside his Bani Gala residence in Islamabad, Khan said it was misreported that protesters were armed, only to find excuse for use of force. He said Pakistan will keep plunging into crisis ‘if this royal family rules the roost’ without any accountability.
“Under what law CM Pervez Khattak and his supporters were tear-gassed,” he asked.
Khan said he would fulfill his promises he made to the masses.
He called Prime Minister ‘Panama Sharif’ and insisted that he must present himself for accountability or resign from his position.
He targeted the PM, saying ‘he believes winning from Punjab is suffice to rule Pakistan.’ The prime minister should be ashamed for his mean approach.
Khan insisted that ‘every Pakistani will take to the streets tomorrow (Nov 2) against Nawaz Sharif.’
He claimed that incumbent rulers were fueling discrimination between the provinces.
PTI chairman said his party never used public exchequer for rallies and public meetings in the KP. “It was all based on donations,” he added.
