IG Punjab orders transfer of 11 SPs, including 3 SPs present at the time of Model Town operation

IG Police Punjab has transferred 11 senior superintendent police officers including three SPs present during Model town operation.

According to spokesman for Punjab police details of transfer and posting are as follows

1. SP Mukhtar Hussain has been made SP Security
2. Malik Liaquat as Additional SP Security
3. Umer Saeed Malik as Additional SP Headquarters
4. Syed Abdul Raheed Sheerazi as SP Investigation D.G Khan
5. Muhammad Nadeem as Additional SP Operation Cant
6. Baqar as SP Operation Model Town Lahore
7. Farukh Raza SP Investigation Okara
8. Maroof Wahla as SP RID Dera Ghazi Khan
9. Muhammad Rizwan as SP VVIP Security
10. Zahid Nawaz as Additional SP Mobile Lahore
11. Captain Bashir Makhdoom has been directed to report Centre Police Office.

SP Farukh Raza, Abdul Raheed Sheerazi and Maroof Wahla are among those police officers Minhajul Quran administration had filed application against.
