Security forces, political administration and Mamond tribesmen in a Jirga held yesterday decided to defer the operation by the forces and instead vowed to take united action against the terrorists in the agency later.
The Jirga held yesterday at the headquarter Khar was attended by the elders of the Mamond tribesmen, representatives of the security forces and political administration.
Political Agent Syed Abdul Jabbar Shah addressing the Jirga said that maintaining peace in the area was the collective responsibility of the security forces, political administration and the tribesmen.
Following this successful Jirga, security forces deferred the operation in the area and those who had evacuated the area after the announcement of a military operation were asked to return to their houses.
