The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) suspended two officers for their alleged role in leaking the family’s tax information of former COAS General (ret.) Qamar Javed Bajwa.
The FBR-issued suspension notification of Zahoor Ahmed and Atif Nawaz Warraich for their alleged role in leaking the tax data of General Bajwa and his family.
The notification stated that by the Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 2020, sub-rule (1), the Competent Authority, Secretary Revenue/Chairman FBR, has suspended the two officers of BS-18 of the Inland Revenue Service for 120 days with immediate effect.
Zahoor Ahmad (Admin Pool), FBR (Headquarters), Islamabad, and Atif Nawaz Warraich (Admin Pool), FBR (Headquarters), Islamabad, are the two suspended officers.
