STATE COLLEGE, Pennsylvania: AccuWeather for Business is promoting AI-ready weather data, severe-weather warnings, and enterprise tools as companies seek more detailed forecasts to inform operational decisions.
The company says its data services cover more than 300 weather parameters and forecasts for over 3.5 million locations worldwide.
Its AI-integration offering also includes an MCP server for connecting historical, current and forecast weather data with AI applications and business datasets.
AccuWeather says its systems handle about 30 billion data requests each day. Its enterprise products include Sky Guard severe-weather warnings, historical and real-time weather datasets, sensors and API-based integrations.
The company targets industries including retail, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing and energy. It says customers can use weather data to adjust staffing, inventory, logistics and other operations.

AccuWeather has also expanded its weather data into major AI platforms. It partnered with Perplexity in June 2025 and launched an AccuWeather app in ChatGPT in March 2026, giving users access to forecasts, warnings and services including MinuteCast and RealFeel.
The company markets forecast accuracy as a key selling point. A Kantar analysis of the 2024 hurricane season found AccuWeather’s forecasts.

On average, more accurate than National Hurricane Centre forecasts across the categories it examined. The study included an average 37.8% advantage in forecasting landfall intensity.
AccuWeather also says its tornado warnings provide about 16 minutes of advance notice on average, compared with eight minutes for National Weather Service warnings. The figure forms part of the company’s marketing for its SkyGuard service.
