Pakistan successfully conducted a training launch of the 120-kilometre-range Fatah series surface-to-surface missile on Monday as part of Exercise INDUS. The test was intended to validate operational readiness and technical accuracy, strengthening Pakistan’s defence capabilities amidst regional tensions.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced that the launch, executed during Exercise INDUS, assessed the Pakistan Army’s readiness and the Fatah missile’s advanced navigation and targeting systems. Senior military officials, alongside scientists and engineers from strategic organisations, observed the test. The missile’s 120km range enhances Pakistan’s precision strike capabilities, bolstering national security.

The test follows Pakistan’s recent UN call to address India’s provocations, underscoring its focus on maintaining robust defence readiness in a tense regional climate.
