On Monday, Sean “Diddy” Combs faced a new wave of legal challenges as six additional alleged victims filed lawsuits against the music mogul.
The recent claims, filed in Manhattan federal court, span alleged incidents from 1995 to 2021 and involved four men and two women, one of whom was just 16 years old at the time of the purported events. The new development compounds the existing legal pressures on Combs, who is already contending with sex-trafficking charges and casts a profound shadow over his career and legacy.
One plaintiff, referred to as Jane Doe, was a 19-year-old college freshman when she alleged Combs assaulted her in 2004. She and a friend had attended a photo shoot for “Da Band,” an act signed to Combs’ label, followed by an invitation to a private party at Combs’ hotel. However, the event took a dark turn upon their arrival.

Court documents reveal that a security guard isolated the two women in a separate room and locked them in, ominously stating, “You know what you are here for.” It is alleged that Combs then entered, offered them drinks and cocaine, and threatened their lives if they did not comply with his demands.
The lawsuit further alleges that Combs forced one of the women to perform oral sex on him while threatening both with their lives.
Jane Doe reports that she pleaded with Combs to stop as he assaulted her, but he continued despite her pleas. After a brief intervention by a security guard, her friend managed to escape, but Jane Doe remained trapped in the room for over an hour before she was finally allowed to leave.
All plaintiffs in these new lawsuits are seeking unspecified damages. This latest legal development comes as Combs, aged 54, prepares for his May trial on sex-trafficking charges. He has pleaded not guilty in the criminal case and continues to deny all allegations in the face of mounting civil lawsuits.
