Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah on Wednesday accentuated that democracy cannot be allowed to be derailed.
Talking to media in Karachi, Shah said decisions should be made in parliaments, rather than through agitation on roads.
He said Pakistan People’s Party struggled for 40 years for democracy in the country.
Earlier this week, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Dr Shireen Mazari met Shah and discussed with him various issues including appointment of the new Chief Election Commissioner (CEC).
