The country will continue to remain under the grip of extremely hot weather today as temperature rose to 40 degrees centigrade in many cities throughout the country.
Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) said Balochistan’s Gwadar district experienced the season’s hottest day today when the temperature rose to 49.5 degrees centigrade.
It said 49 Centigrade temperature was recorded in Sibi whereas lowest minimum of 16 Centigrade was recorded in Quetta and Kalat.
The PMD forecast very hot and dry weather in most parts, including Balochistan region during the next 24 hours.
