A bomb attack took place in the premises of Pishta-khara police station earlier this morning.
Terrorists had planted the explosives at the roadside to target a police mobile. The blast occurred as soon as the police mobile that was patrolling the area, arrived at the spot. Police officer, Ijaz, who was rushed to the hospital suffered minor injuries as a result of the attack.
The noise of the explosion at Dora Road was heard in the surrounding areas. Police have commenced investigations.
