A low-intensity bomb went off in Hayatabad area of Peshawar a little while ago, killing at least one man and also injuring a woman.
The blast occurred near Bagh-e-Naran Chowk in Hayatabad.
Rescue officials and security personnel reached the scene and cordoned off the area.
The identity of the victim could not be determined yet. Investigations are being conducted but no group has accepted responsibility for the act.
