In view of the imposition of Article-245 of the Constitution in Islamabad and long march by PTI and PAT, the army has taken control of the Parliament House.
The ceremonies for the Independence Day celebrations will begin tonight. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be chief guest on the occasion. Heads of all three armed forces, parliamentarians and international political figures will also take part in the central ceremony.
All passes for staff of Parliament House have already been cancelled in view of a security measure. Pakistan army will perform a “march past parade” after the flag hoisting ceremony.
