KARACHI, Sindh: Anmol Pinky was indicted in a death-by-negligence case after a District and Sessions Court South framed charges against her.
Anmol, alias Pinky, appeared before the court via video link and denied the charge. The court directed prosecution witnesses to appear on September 3, 2026. The case was registered at Baghdadi Police Station.
Separately, Additional Inspector General Karachi Azad Khan briefed the Senate Standing Committee on Interior about a narcotics investigation involving Pinky. He said police had challaned 10 people in that case.

Khan told the committee that investigators had traced financial data worth about Rs100 million. He said one account received Rs30 million within a year, including a single Rs29 million transaction.
The Karachi police official also said investigators had identified 25 alleged riders and were examining suspected benami accounts.
The narcotics investigation is separate from the death-by-negligence case in which charges were framed.
