ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A Polish cyclist’s Pakistan tour covering 1,390 kilometres ended at Khunjerab Pass after starting from Faisal Mosque on July 26.
Cyclist Sławomir Strzelczyk completed the Pakistan-Poland Friendship Cycle Expedition 2026 through northern Pakistan. The route crossed Abbottabad, Besham, Chilas, Gilgit, Hunza, Gulmit, Passu and Sost.
The Embassy of Poland in Islamabad announced the completion on X. It said Polish Ambassador Maciej Pisarski met Strzelczyk and congratulated him on the journey.
The embassy said the expedition celebrated Pakistan-Poland friendship while promoting tourism and cultural exchange between the two countries.
