Corps Commanders conference held in Rawalpindi under Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif in Genral Headquarters (GHQ).
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif chaired the meeting held here at General Headquarters (GHQ).
According to Inter Services Public Relations office, army’s professional matters and country’s security situation was discussed in conference.
In a handout issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated “Focus of the exhaustive review remained on the most effective implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) in concert with federal and provincial governments to eliminate terrorism, extremism, and sectarianism without any discrimination,”
The statement further added that “The meeting also zoomed in on the progress of ongoing operations against the terrorists in North Waziristan and other preemptive security measures to ward off Peshawar Army Public School like militant attacks,”
