The local Administration in Islamabad earlier today conducted a raid at a slaughterhouse and seized 2,000 Kgs of highly unhygienic meat.
The team, led by Assistant Commissioner Dr Waqar Hassan raided the slaughterhouse located near the Motorway Toll Plaza. The officials said the unhygienic meat was of ‘dead animals’.
The local administration also arrested 10 suspects, involved in transporting the unwholesome meat of dead animals from Jhang and supplying it to shops and unsuspecting customers in the twin cities.
