Megastar Shahrukh Khan will be seen next in the upcoming movie,Raees, directed by Rahul Dholakia, alongside Pakistani actress Mahira Khan.
Shahrukh said at the launch of Dabboo Ratnani’s annual calendar: “Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mahira Khan are there in the film (Raees). Both of them are very accomplished actors. I think the cast is really wonderful. Now I would have to excel and perform like them.”
The actor is set to join the film’s shoot by the end of March.
Mahira, who shot to fame with her immensely popular role in Pakistani television show Humsafar, will be playing the female lead in the movie.
Farhan Akhtar will be co-producing the venture, along with Ritesh Sidhwani, who also announced Mahira’s role on Twitter earlier in December.
