The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 final pits the tournament hosts against the six-time champions. Australia are chasing a record-extending seventh title. Meanwhile, England is seeking the trophy on home soil.
The match starts at 3:30 pm local time, or 7:30 pm PKT. It will take place at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London, one of the main venues in world cricket.
The International Cricket Council said the closing ceremony would begin before the match. Rita Ora will perform on the outfield from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm local time. After the final, Clean Bandit will perform once the champions are crowned.
AFP reported that the ceremony schedule affected England’s normal pre-match routine. Bowlers usually use the main outfield to mark run-ups and complete final drills before play.
England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt said some players had “a few chins down” after learning about the change. However, she said the team still hoped to complete its preparation as usual.
Australia captain Sophie Molineux played down the issue. Instead, she joked that her team could “evacuate the dance floor” if Rita Ora performed before the final.
Both sides reached the title match without a defeat. As a result, their run set up another major England-Australia meeting in women’s cricket.

According to the ICC, England and Australia had met in three previous Women’s T20 World Cup finals, in 2012, 2014 and 2018.
England will look to use home support at Lord’s. Australia, however, will rely on their record in finals and its six previous titles.
