Uttar Pradesh Police in India successfully rescued a man who was trapped inside a 30-foot drainpipe in Noida while intoxicated.

Uttar Pradesh Police shared a video on an Instagram compilation on Instagram documenting the rescue. The footage showed police and locals working together to extract the man after hearing his calls for help.

The footage captured a crowd around the drain, where two officers and several locals navigated the pipe to free him. The rescue, praised for its swift execution, garnered over 100,000 views and 8,000 likes.

An Instagram caption lauded the effort, stating, “‘Sweeping trouble from the torrent.’ Following an early morning #Dial 112 call, @noidapolice and locals swiftly rescued an intoxicated man from a fast-flowing drainpipe.”

Social media users commended the quick response with comments like “Hats off to prompt police action” and praises for the helpful locals.
