The wife of Lollywood film director Syed Noor has passed away in Lahore.
Rukhsana, 58, journalist and writer, was suffering from cancer for last several years.
Rukhsana was a journalist and had also taught across various Punjab varsities. She had later launched a production house. She began living separately from him after he married Lollywood star Saima but chose not to divorce him.
She wrote several songs and scripts for famous yesteryear films such as Choorian, which was directed by Noor.
Rukhsana was married to Syed Noor in 1984, she had three daughters and one son.
When Noor got married for the second time to film star Saima, Rukhsana began living separately but chose not to get divorce
