Reality star and actor Kim Kardashian has proposed a Kardashian-Jenner season of “Dancing with the Stars”, saying she would compete again if her family joined her.
Kardashian, 45, discussed the idea on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Thursday. The “All’s Fair” actor recalled a recent family gathering where her old routines prompted talk of a return.
Her sister Kylie Jenner played footage from the competition on a large screen during a poker night about three weeks earlier. Kardashian explained that some guests didn’t know she had appeared on the show.
Watching herself again, she remembered parts of the choreography and demonstrated some moves in front of the screen. She wished she had possessed her present confidence during the original competition.
Kardashian then suggested that her relatives could compete against one another in a season devoted to the family. Her sisters liked the idea, though she doubted the programme would agree.“I would just want us all back,” she told Kimmel.
She questioned whether former contestants could return. Kimmel welcomed the idea and assured her the show would invite her back.
Her enthusiasm contrasted with her account of competing in season seven in 2008. Professional dancer Mark Ballas partnered Kardashian, who finished 11th after leaving three weeks into the competition.
She described crying in her trailer each night and hoping her run would end. Shyness kept her from feeling comfortable with the performances, she explained, adding that she hadn’t danced since.

Her brother Rob Kardashian had a longer run. He finished second in season 13 in 2011 alongside professional dancer Cheryl Burke.
Returning contestants have competed before. “Dancing with the Stars” staged its only All-Stars season in 2012, when television personality Melissa Rycroft won with professional dancer Tony Dovolani.
