Sindh Rangers have issued a detailed report of arrests, killings and confiscations since September 2013, during the Karachi operation.
According to the Rangers spokesperson, 178 criminals have been killed, 2787 arrested in 3285 raids since the start of operation on September 5, 2013.
The arrested include 150 target killers, 213 extortionists, 27 kidnappers and twelve terrorists. Rangers killed 178 terrorists in in 126 raids and recovered 32 abductees.
During the operation, around 4895 arms were confiscated which include machine guns, LMG, RPG, SMG, Hand grenades, rocket launchers and Improvised Explosive Devices.
Fifteen ranger’s personnel embraced martyrdom while forty three received severe injuries.
Moreover, 190,000 different types of bullets have also been recovered from criminal elements within the city.
