In a recent development in TikToker Ayesha’s murder case, the Sindh High Court (SHC) granted bail to the prime accused, Jibran, also known as Jimmy.

The court has decided to grant Jimmy bail, albeit with conditions. A significant bond, set at Rs 200,000, is mandated as part of this bail provision. The court, emphasizing the case’s severity and public scrutiny, issued a stern warning to the accused. Should there be any indication or report of misuse of this bail privilege, the court retains the right to revoke it immediately.

Background and Chronology of Events

Before this decision, Jimmy had been placed on a two-day physical remand. As part of the judicial process, the court instructed the investigation officer to ensure that the accused was presented by June 30 with a detailed progress report on the ongoing investigation.

For context, the police acted promptly on this high-profile case, registering a First Information Report (FIR) concerning the tragic discovery of a young girl’s body. The FIR was filed based on the official complaint by the deceased’s father, who has since provided his statement to the authorities.

A heart-wrenching revelation was that the victim, Ayesha, was an active TikToker from Punjab’s Sheikhupura city. According to her father, Sultan’s testimony, Ayesha had been married for three years and had relocated to Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Johar area.

The main accused, Jimmy, who is now in police custody, was apprehended shortly after he allegedly left Ayesha’s body at the aforementioned hospital.

Diving deeper into the case’s intricacies, Ayesha attended a private gathering at a bungalow in DHA phase 1, Street 32, Saba Street. The individual responsible for bringing her to this event was identified as Nadeem. Notably, he didn’t arrive alone but was accompanied by four other girls. Following the incident, which remains under investigation, Tariq, believed to be the owner of the bungalow, quickly vacated the premises and has been on the run.

SSP South, speaking on behalf of the police department, communicated their commitment to resolving the case comprehensively, ensuring that everyone involved is held accountable.

Although initial speculations based on hospital findings pointed towards a potential drug overdose as the cause of Ayesha’s unfortunate demise, the official post-mortem report debunked this theory. It presented no conclusive evidence suggesting drug overdose or any physical harm.
