Sharon Osbourne said she missed the Hellfest unveiling of a statue honouring her late husband Ozzy Osbourne after an unexpected hospital trip earlier in the week.
The 73-year-old was expected to attend the ceremony at France’s Hellfest festival, where organisers unveiled a statue dedicated to the Black Sabbath frontman.
Osbourne explained her absence in an Instagram post after the event. She wrote that she was sorry she could not attend and said she had made an “unexpected trip to the hospital.”
She did not share further details about her medical condition. She thanked the Hellfest team, including Olivier Garnier, Ben Barbaud and artist Philippe Pasqua, for their support.
The tribute went ahead at the heavy metal festival in France. Organisers unveiled the statue as a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, the Black Sabbath singer widely known as the “Prince of Darkness.”
