At least seven death row prisoners have been hanged till death in jails in different cities across Pakistan on early Wednesday morning.
In Kot Lakhpat Jail, Lahore, two convicts have been executed. Abdul Khaliq killed a woman, whereas the Shehzad killed a man.
In Quetta, a convicted Muhammed Khan was hanged till death at Central Jail Machh this morning. Muhammed Khan killed his brother and nephew in 2004.
In Vehari District Jail, a convict Sanaullah was executed. Sanaullah killed a child after abducting him.
In Multan, hanging of two brothers was stopped in Central Jail today after a deal was reached with the aggrieved party, according to jail officials.
In Gujrat, two convicted prisoners hanged at the gallows. Convict Naseer killed a man in 2002 and Faisal murdered another man in 1999.
In Sargodha, a criminal, Ansar, was executed at the gallows in District jail early this morning.
