The Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered issued to remove Dr Asim’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
According to details, in a ruling on Tuesday the SC allowed the federal government to remove the name of Dr. Asim from ECL and also issue directives to Sindh High Court to return Dr Asim’s passport.
The apex court ordered Dr Asim to deposit a surety of Rs 6 million as surety. The Supreme Court said that NAB’s treatment of Dr Asim compared to other suspects was different.
The bench also remarked that the medical board’s report could not be declared as incorrect and that NAB had not expressed any reservations towards the report.
