At least four persons of a family died in early hours of Friday when roof of their house collapsed in the wake of heavy torrential rains.
Heavy downpours in Punjab have already taken its toll on villages and residents of different cities of the province.
In the latest incident, roof of a house caved in the native area of Jhawarian due to rains. All the four people present in the house died when rubble of the home fell over them. Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital.
