Overnight raids resulted in the arrests of extortionists and dacoits in karachi, late yesterday night.
According to reports, Tamooria police in a joint raid with Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) apprehended a couple of extortionists.
On top of recovering firearms from the possession of violent criminals, the law enforcers also seized mobile phones used to make threatening calls to the extortees.
On the other hand, two armed robbers, who engaged the cops in a shootout, were shot, injured, and captured in Mominabad area of the metropolis.
