Nine people were killed in rain-caused incidents across Punjab on Monday.
According to details, two women died after a wall fell on them at Kamalabad cemetery. Another 17 people were injured in other incidents.
In Arifwala, two farmers, Umair and Sajid, were killed after being struck by lightning. Two young men fell victims to lightening in Kahuta. Again lightening struck Bhakkar, killing one person and wounding three persons.
A student died of electrocution during heavy rainfall in Khoshab.
More storms are expected according to the met office.
