The Pakistan Meteorological Department (MET) on Friday forecast more monsoon rain in the southern parts of the country.
According to MET, monsoon currents are penetrating upper parts of the country and likely to strengthen in the next 24 hours.
Rain and thunderstorm (with isolated heavy falls) are expected at scattered places in Kashmir, Punjab (Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad, D.G. Khan), Islamabad, FATA, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Mirpurkhas, and Hyderabad divisions in the next 24 hours. Rain and thunderstorm are expected at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan.
