In response to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s announcement that the assembly in the provinces of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) would be dissolved, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah claimed that the party would do a “U-turn on the topic within a week.”

In an attempt to minimize the significance of the PTI chief’s remark, the Interior Minister stated on the program “Naya Pakistan” of Geo TV that “[People] would witness how a U-turn will come within a week.”

In response to a question, Sanaullah stated that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) does not have anything to present to the Chief Minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, at this time. In addition to this, he stated that CM Elahi was corrupt.
