Opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah  said that his party would stand by the federal government if it was faced with any threat.

Speaking to the media, Shah said that government and army were not on same page regarding peace talks.  “We will back the Pakistan Protection Ordinance (PPO) if our recommendations are incorporated,” he said,

To a question, he denied giving any statement regarding MQM’s inclusion in the Sindh government.
