The investigation into murder of Qandeel Baloch has taken yet another dramatic turn when police discovered another suspect in the killing along with Muhammad Waseem.
During the interrogation, brother of Qandeel Blaoch, Muhammad Waseem, who had confessed killing his sister said that his cousin Haq Nawaz had acquired a vehicle on rent from Dera Ghazi Khan and was guarding the residence at the gate when the crime took place.
Police have also arrested two sister-in-laws of slain model to expand scope of investigation. The investigators are now searching for Qandeel’s cellphone which has been missing since her murder.

On July 16, in front of media Qandeel’s brother had confessed to killing her and expressed no remorse for the crime and said “We are respected people of Baloch cast. Qandeel’s videos making rounds on social media could not be tolerated, hence I myself decided to kill her. I am not ashamed of my act”.
Waseem had strangled Qandeel on Friday night and then fled to Dera Ghazi Khan.
