Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in Bannu to visit IDP camps to review arrangements for thousands of displaced people who left their homes in North Waziristan due to anti-Taliban military operation in the tribal agency.
The PM was welcomed by army chief General Raheel Sharif upon his arrival at Bannu.
Chief Minister KPK, Pervez Khattak, and other government officials are accompanying the PM.
The PM has also invited Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief, Imran Khan, to join him during the visit, however, the PTI chief rejected the offer, since he would be busy in rallying in Bhawalpur.
