Brisbane: Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and chose to bat in their crucial World Cup Pool B match against Zimbabwe at the Gabba in Brisbane on Sunday.

Pakistan are yet to win a match at the 2015 World Cup, while Zimbabwe have one win and two losses.

Pakistan made one change from the team that lost to the West Indies on February 21 with struggling opener Younis Khan dropped.

Left-arm paceman Rahat Ali, who has not played a ODI since his only appearance back in 2012 against Sri Lanka, also comes into the team.

Zimbabwe, who lost to the West Indies on their last outing, have made three changes to the side that went down in Canberra.

Chamunorwa Chibhabha comes in at the top of the order for Regis Chakabva, medium pacer Solomon Mire replaces Stuart Matsinkenyeri and fast bowler Tawanda Mupariwa takes over from Tafadzwa Kamungozi.

Pakistan lost to arch-rivals India in their opening match, before being thrashed by 150 runs by the West Indies.

Zimbabwe beat the United Arab Emirates, but have lost to the West Indies (73 runs) and South Africa (62 runs).

Pakistan – Ahmed Shahzad, Nasir Jamshed, Haris Sohail, Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), Sohaib Maqsood, Umar Akmal, Shahid Afridi, Wahab Riaz, Sohail Khan, Rahat Ali, Mohammad Irfan.

Zimbabwe – Sikander Raza, Chamunorwa Chibhabha, Hamilton Masakadza, Brendan Taylor, Sean Williams, Craig Ervine, Elton Chigumbura (capt), Solomon Mire, Tawanda Mupariwa, Tinashe Panyangara, Tendai Chatara.
