On May 21, 2025, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed a 16-member squad for a three-match T20 International (T20I) series against Bangladesh, scheduled for May 27, 29, and 31 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The series marks the debut assignment for new head coach Mike Hesson and follows the conclusion of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) X on May 25.

Led by Agha Salman, the squad was selected based on players’ performances in PSL X. Key players include Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Abrar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Hasan Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, and Naseem Shah. Series Schedule and Venue

Following bilateral discussions in Dubai, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have revised their upcoming T20I series from five matches to three. All games will now occur at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, replacing the originally scheduled fixtures, including Faisalabad.

The condensed series will begin on May 25, and the PCB will announce the finalised schedule shortly. This adjustment comes after recent negotiations between cricket administrators from both nations.

This series is a critical opportunity for Pakistan to refine its T20I strategy under Hesson’s leadership, building momentum ahead of future international commitments. Following successful negotiations with the PCB, the tour strengthened Bangladesh’s bilateral cricket ties. The Pakistan Cricket Board will enforce comprehensive security protocols throughout all matches at Gaddafi Stadium, maintaining safety standards and an energetic spectator experience. Security teams will implement.

The Pakistan-Bangladesh T20I series promises exciting cricket, showcasing top talent from both nations. Fans can expect competitive matches as Pakistan leverages home advantage and Bangladesh aims to challenge the hosts.
