The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), a Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development department, plans to send around 100 female nurses to a health firm in Malaysia.

The demand for female nursing staff in Malaysia is increasing due to the highly qualified and expert nurses already working in Malaysian hospitals. Candidates must have a diploma in nursing or a Bachelor of Science in nursing from a recognized institution.

They should be registered with the Nursing Council and have at least 3 years of relevant hospital experience.

Specialized post-basic training in OT/ICU and paediatrics is preferred. The age limit is 45. The basic monthly salary ranges from RM3,000 to RM4,500.

The health firm will provide allowances, including general nursing allowance for pediatric nurses and specialized allowance for ICU and OT nurses.

Allowances include RM1,100 for specialized roles, RM700 for general nursing, RM400 for a degree, and RM800 for post-basic training.

The official shared the employment contract terms, stating that salaries will be reviewed annually in March based on performance and market position.

Upon completing the contract period, employees will receive a one-month bonus for every year of service. A bonus is payable after completing the two-year contract.
